Tiverton Lodges & Log Cabins

Situated in mid Devon and to the north of Exeter on the main A396 road lies the lovely market town of Tiverton. Standing at the confluence of the rivers Exe and Lowman, the town makes a wonderful destination for a short break or even longer in the South West. Take a trip on the Grand Western Canal on board a traditional horse drawn barge, or view the varied collections at Tiverton museum featuring transport, agriculture, industry and social history exhibitions. Visitors can also enjoy model railway layouts, the museum or even a train trip on a narrow gauge railway at the Devon Railway Centre in the picturesque Exe Valley. Other attractions include Bickleigh Mill, an 18th century working water mill which also houses a shopping area with places to enjoy a meal, and a recreation area for the children, and Diggerland a fun packed adventure park for all the family. Here visitors can actually have a turn on construction machines with more than fifteen rides to choose from. Further afield but within easy reach lies the English Riviera centred around Torquay, Brixham and Paignton. The spectacular natural cave of Kent’s Cavern at Torquay is a great favourite with visitors, situated as it is just a short walk from the beach and the lovely South West Coast Path. A popular attraction at Paignton is one of Britain's top zoos. Paignton Zoo has over 80 acres of landscaped grounds which are home to some of the rarest animals in the world including gorillas, elephants and black rhinos.
